This is my Phase 2 model and still original color red (719) and bloody dirty this moment need to wash it. :oops: Owned it since i was 18 years old. So 17 years i have been drived this car every year. Its soon approx. 240k km on clock and still runin well.
Over 120k with 1 bar boosted. Never have to opened Head Gasket yet etc.  But about 5-6 months ago when was bloody winterstorm my breather system got stuck and some majonese stucked breather pot and littlebit oil (maybe 0.5-1l.) came trough rocker cover gasket so its now time to open rocker cover and change gasket.  Not leakin oil now.

3rd Clutch put into place. Last autumn putted upgrated Valeo Clutch.
K-tec 2 1/2 Exhaust system
Little upgrated Carb 125main, enrichtener 110.
Double alloy Intercooler.
Boost somewhere 1 bar (quessin), was with old oe ic. Now oe gauge goin almost end of gauge with new alloy ic.  
15" Alloys 195/45/15 summer tires, 13" winter 175/70/13 spike tires.

I got also some stuff waitin to put in, waitin new brake discs and pads arrive, maybe testing 130main, 0.9 a/c, mix. screw, checkin fuelin for higher boost or lowerin boost, dont know yet. Exhaust downpipe 2 1/2, New front grill, rocker cover gasket, aftermarket turbo gauge, rear arch need to fix, little rust protection, couple gauges need to fix and some electrical failures etc..Color of the car is faded so much that i have to respray it at some point in the future.

Try giving it a good polish first if it's faded. Red always fades, but can be brought back to life with a little effort  :wink:

And stay away from the 130 main jet. It'll just waste fuel.

I actually like this car even in the pink state that its in :lol: , i think its because its served you for such a long time. good luck with the repairs bud

wow now that's enthousiastic, 17 years with a 5 gtt is AGES for these cars.

My red 5 was painted nearly 3 years ago and even that fades. A good polish should bring it back to life.

Well done for keeping hold of it for so long.

Allright couple week ago installed aftermarket boost gauge, showin like i expected 1.1 bar-1.15bar. Sorted today some annoyin random back kickin problem first i thought it was just condesion water.. :oops: but today morning it occured again and keeps continue constant when drivin back from work with only 3 cylinders. Must be sparks or leads etc..i thought. Yeah just one spark. Got some older B8EG racing sparks at home and fixed problem. I thought B8EVX would be lasted longer but no..drived approx. 10k km.
