You can't 'chip' and renault 5 gt turbo, they don't run an ecu.
There's few things in the description i would question.

Thats not a standard front bumper, it looks like a Skeete one (aftermarket)

Engine side, very doubt forged block considering there not one out there
I would look at why its had a fan overide fitted, always worries me that.

For the price its not too bad, thats if the shell is ok and it runs and works fine

I don't understand why people do this either.

I ripped mine out, some people list it as an 'upgrade', personally i think it's a bit of a bodge. A new radiator sensor costs what? Less then 15?

defo worth a punt if you fancy it.       5's are great (not biased  )
A good running 5 with no rust etc is easilly worth that IMO

If it has been restored properly like it says it has and had a new paint job - there should be no rot!!
if the engine etc runs well........why not make an offer?

there are plenty buying guides online which can give you pointers what to look at...

or even better, take someone along with you that knows a bit about these cars

My personal opinion - I would add a few more hundred pounds to your budget and wait for one that looks a little more standard to come along. This one may be ok for you but you may have trouble shifting it if you want to sell. If you get a good standard-ish model and improve it, you won't have an issue selling it as they are always more desirable.
