Picked up a new car.....questions
« on: 20:51, Tue 12 April 2011 »
I just picked up a 1990 black GT Turbo. It seems okay and looks pretty standard by a couple of bits I need to change.

Would any Renault 5 bonnet fit a GT Turbo?

I was told by the previous owner that the car is running standard boost. However when on full turbo the gauge was reading all the way around rather than 3/4 as standard boost should. Is there anyway of knowing how much boost it is running?

The oil pressure gauge sometimes stops working and reads nothing? Is this likely to be a dodgy sensor or wire?

How easy and what should I be paying to have the suspension put back to stock.?

Thanks for any help

see here for boost readings  http://www.renault5gtturbo.com/maintenance.htm

standard boost is 10psi

oil pressure could be dirty connections on the sensor

cant help with the suspension i'm afraid
