Anti perc fan sensor?
« on: 16:45, Mon 07 March 2011 »
My R5 seems to have a loose temp sensor rolling around on top of the turbo heat shield.

I think this is the anti perc fan sensor and should be mounted somewhere, any advice on where and what it is/does?

AFAIK it should pop into the heatshield. Not 100% sure, mine had already been removed.

I took the heat shield off the other day and there is no hole for the sensor.

Yeah that sensor would mount on top of the OE heatshield, I would either remove all the wires or make your own bracket over the turbo to support it

I would trace them all back to the loom and remove and make ends safe or trace back to loom connection and remove from there but then I don't run a pirc fan in my setup :D
