I'm assuming it works on GPS.

BHP is probably a guesstimate from how quick you get from A to B?

That's what I was thinking and it clames it's with in 5 bhp so it must be a really gps system. To be that accurate I mean.

But yeah it seems good for the rest of the fetures.

May get one and see. A 1er isn't to bad.

You'd have to throw some figures into it then surely? Like the weight of the car for instance, or it'd think you had more bhp if you just lightened everything. Does it connect to the engine at all or is it wireless?

100 could be much better spent IMO!
I have downloaded free programs similar to this for my android phone.  You input some data.....found out our 1.5 nissan almeira apparently has 400+bhp....

get what you pay for I suppose

you cant get a bhp quote with GPS.  Suggest you drive a 1969 dodge charger with +400bph and then a 5gtt.  Both will be in 7 seconds to a 100km/h but there's 250 bhp difference.

Seems weird

But you could get a rough guesstimate?

Surely there's some equation to work out how much force is required to get an object from A to B. I'm sure there would be an option to set the cars weight.

I think the OP should do a quarter mile downhill, then post his 300BHP+ results.

Heres an interesting link. http://www.torquestats.com/modified/index.php?pid=calculator&action=calculate_bhp_weight&drive=FWD&weight_bhp_selector=weight&weight_bhp_value=800&time_selector=0-60&time_value=6&submit=Calculate

Apparently for a car weighing 800KG to hit 60MPH in 6.3 seconds it will need 164BHP.
