how much before she goes BANG!

can anyone tell me how much power/bhp a standard bottom end can take with these mods-big front mount,l&b fly wheel,re-jetted carb.just wana know how far i can push the bottom end before it goes BANG!cheers peeps

The C1J engine to be honest it pretty much bullett proof it's all down to getting the correct fueling for the boost you want to run along with decent charge temps.  If these are all good and you service regular she should be fine matey.

Question is how much bhp you want from the car mate?

The bottom end will take alot, depending on what you want to do with it will determine weather investing in forge pistons will be worth it or not.
As for the head work, depending on how far you want to go will determine if its needed or not

Only parts ull ever have to likly upgrade is the pistons

The liners and con rods as stock can take a CRAPLOAD of power without much problem
