barrel housing\steering lock....

hii,can anyone help,steering lock,barrel housing...how do i remove?looks like a pin?no screws?or does it slip off when steering wheel etc removed?...cheers mark

you might have to get a hack saw on thr bold mate if its a snap bold and theres no other way of getting it off.

i hade to do it when i first brought my 5 cs somebody had tryed to snap the lock and bent the whole thing.

thanks mate....got it,yep the bolt is a sheer jobbie put in at the factory,been told that with a little care,a tiny punch and a steady hand,try and tap the bolt around and out....give it a go let ya know if it works.....appreciate your reply....mark.
