hi guys. rite i got fed up with not haveing any time to work on my 5 due to work. so its gone to a mates garage. it will beready in 2 weeks.

hi guys. long time no speak. i have been working my ass off so i can get my car back on the road before all the good weather gose.
tomorrow is the mot day so wish me luck. i have been to the garage every day since she has been in there just to make sure everything is going well and so far so good. just need a few small bits.

when she is back i will be sorting the carb out and the fueling. then fingers crossed she should be good for at least a few miles.  :lol:

i will post pics tomorrow after i have cleaned her.

god dame it!!!! failed due to brake servo leaking.

dose anyone know another car with the same servo?

I always dread going back to pick the car up after an MOT. Or do you torture yourself and wait at the garage?

ha ha no she has been in there for two weeks. would have been a long wait.  :lol:

had some welding done and stuff like that but turns out the servo is fighting against you when you put your foot on the brake. so the (my mate dave)  :lol:  recons the servo has gone as its not holding pressure. or somthing like that.

yeah i have just been to see the guy and he has to drop the engine a bit to get to it.
not good really but he is starting tomorrow.

so fingers crossed. to be honest i dont care i just want my five back!!!!!!!!!!

no mate not really should be done by end of the week. new-ish servo. and need two tyres then re-mot it then tax. job done. got two weeks off work to so want it back asap so i can run it in. she sounds lush with the new manafold. how did you find yours? nice sound ? you got the same set up havent you??

well spent about 2 hours taking the servo out last night. was ok in the end came out the top. just got to put the new one in. then re mot her.
