hi ive bought my first r5 turbo the engine is all standard want a bit more power ,ive been offered a carreti turbo??will this be better than my standard one thanks mike..

hi there the carreti is an aftermarket turbo and yes is more powerfull than the origanal turbo if the engine is completely standard u might want to upgrade other things

What are the specs of the turbo ?

As Andy sayd you need to know spec of the turbo to determine if it will add performance, also just bolting it on and doing nothing else is a bad idea you really need the carb set up aswell to make sure the fueling ios correct

What boost you planning to run on new turbo too?

What does the back housing say, i got an idea it'll say AR.35 somewhere on there.

Ah so its got a bigger rear to the standard 5

Is this turbo off another car or purpose built to the 5? Got a pic of it?
