I was just in the technical issues/ do it yourself forum and it wouldn't let me reply to topics there. My statuses at the bottom said:

You can post new topics in this forum
You cannot reply to topics in this forum
You can edit your posts in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
 
anyone know why not? Thinking about it this is probably covered in the FAQ section. This ever happen to anyone else? :?  :?:

You can't add posts to the threads in the DIY section.

Not 100% sure why, probably in the interests of keeping things tidy.
