My engine is noisy, always has been. Sounds more 'top end' in my case though.

I can picture a bearing in lots of bits sloshing around.

Going to drop the oil , remove the sump and hope like hell nothing hasnt kaput.

I am not going to open up this engine till its got a replacement in the engine bay.

With the cost of repairs ( bearings etc ) its better to just bang another unit in there.

I am hoping to use a new style of VELCRO engine mount so when this one goes bang it will be less to unbolt ..

Been speaking to brigsy - could be a multitude of things. Going to whip out the engine and check flywheel is tight ..

I think its a flywheel bolt trying to make a bid for freedom ..

Have a listen. I can make it knock or not just about on demand.

Engine back in again , but rain stopped play before I could refit everything.
Also bought a VNT ..

Andy, you will love the VNT once you have it setup to how you want it, boost like a T2 yet the pull of a T3 you will run out of rev's before the VNT stops pulling aswell even with a cam
