After several attempts at flogging this car and some truly insulting offers the car is still on the drive.

Must be a sign, work starts again on it tomorrow.  :wink:

Cant believe it didnt sell for £600, i was tempted to have a bid myself! The bodywork looks tidy.

FAIL!

2 Fails.

N/S/F Steering rack gaitor split.
Parking brake lever has no reserve travel.

4 Advisories.

O/S/R tyre worn close to legal limit.
N/S/R tyre worn close to legal limit.
Oil Leak.
N/S/F brake disc worn on inner face.

Got the day off to get the parts and fit them, should have a nice green ticket on Friday!  :D

Handbrake done, probably should of adjusted it after i replaced the rear pads?

Steering rack gaiter is off, picking a new one up tomorrow.

Oil leak was from the turbo oil feed, removed that ready for replacement tomorrow also.

hey Ash, where did you get the braided oil feed from?   i've been lookin for a good one but cant really find anythin less than £30ish from ebay,

Everything seems to be working fine, had the car on the road for a few days now.

Still weeping some oil from around the rocker cover nuts, need to buy a bag full of those fibre washers, they self destruct when you remove them.

I don't bother replacing them anymore I just use a little bit of sealant at the bottom of the thread just after you have the rocker cover and as you do the nuts up, the nuts turn the selant around the hole, works fine form me never had any leaks from there and if you do it right it can look tidy aswell.
