After much thort an such i decided to do another 5 i was going to build a VW Wizard kit car but i still got love for the 5. Thinkin of rippin out the turbo lump an replacing it with sommat a bit more less likely to blow up, any suggestions??

1.8 16V or even 2.0 16V. Lot of job but it is worth.

19 16V's can be picked up for pennies, the conversion is a popular one though. I was gonna do the same a coupel of months back but everyone and their granny has a 16V 5 these days.

I was going the tb F7r 710 meggy lump route.

The 16V engine is better in so many ways to the GTT lump for day to day use.

got one : ) metallic black E reg needs attention as any 5 does really its missin seats, front bumper, front screen and wheels
i been thinkin of..

35mm drop front 30mm drop rear
remove rear seats
morette twin lights
r19 front grill
custom front and rear strut braces
custom rollcage
custom exhaust
standard stylin (for now)
wheels .............(not sure)
looks like im goin for r19 16v lump then

Put the brakes from 19 16V if you have the oportunity. Seats also :D

yea i thort about the brakes, not sure bout seating yet tho  :?
