no real lag at all mines a little lazy though (actuator) but just over 3k is full boost IIRC on a standard car, they pull like stink as well

Blimey these Evo's are expensive to maintain lol.
Sounds like a wheel bearing has gone on the rear..that will be £160 then, may need a new thermostat or waterpump as well as the temp stays really low at the mo & the rad gets hot... hopefully get the car on Evoscan sometime soon to flash out the fault codes....

Steve I have an obd2 reader matey that may be able to get rid of some of your fault codes but unfortunstky it doesn't do all codes.

You can buy the connectors and i'm sure someone in the Evo scene will have the appropriate software so you can connect it up to a PC.

Theres a load for my Saab, even ready made maps. Tempted to flash the 210BHP map on mine.  :twisted:

Yeah there are the same for Evo's, ecuflash I think it's called.
Hopefully got a guy coming to take a look with evoscan soon, at least I'll know what probs I have or don't have.

Steve, if you're going for 1.5 bar, don't forget to change the fuel pump.  The standard one is only good for 1.3 bar, apparently.....

Slight update as i'll be adding some bits over the next week or so.. Parts on the way are..
Stainless manifold, 3" downpipe + de-cat, new turbo as i think mine has issues with the wastegate poppet not sealing, mishimoto (sp) alloy race radiator & some poly rear diff bushes & front ARB bushes (which look a right PITA to fit BTW), then see if I can sort the idle control out as it's playing up !
Prob get it geekmapped as well & run 1.4 bar boost

Yeah will prob just flash a map onto the rom using ecuflash. Will be hoping to hit around 350  with 1.4 bar, maybe 1.5 bar...

Also got my stainless manifold, to be fair it looks pretty well made considering I got it cheap..
Decat is in the car, downpipe on the way & ally rad should be here Friday as well.. think i'll be busy this weekend

Roll on the weekend & then it's onto the rad, turbo & manifold... & prob the boost cut, lol.
