200 BHP at the wheels is quite much for the original 1.4T. It can be done, but quite a lot has to be modified.
Think of:
- FMIC
- Bigger turbo (at about 1.8 Bar)
- Injection kit (no must have, but it certainly helps a lot!)
- Low compression pistons
- Sharper camshaft
Better to fit a 1.8 16V with a lower boost turbo conversion at around 0,9 / 1 Bar. It makes the car heavier at the front, so cornering will be different...
Or go for a F7R 2.0 16V twin-turbo with charge cooler and throttle boddies...

Friend of mine has done a home-made conversion in his 5 and it's dangerously fast!! Around 300 BHP... Bye bye Ringtaxi!

Unfortunately the pics are offline, but I can post some later if you want...
