yes its t2 but the biggest t2 rear housing you can get i know turboted off the rtoc used a turbo very similar to mine and had good results, am not really a figure chaser though as long as it goes well and is set up right then ill be happy

You'll be fine once you get it set up.
You can take the lump out leaving the box in, do the clutch, cam etc once it's out  :wink:

new turbo

spec as follows

cosworth comp housing, pulsar t28 wheel, .63 t2 ex housing
fully rebuilt,balanced, 360 bearing shaft re grinded and bead blasted to look like new








i can now get any turbo done at really good prices from full rebuilds to hybrids like the above just give me a shout via pm

bit of an update

cars now at automedics in stoke with justin ex ep motorsport tuner getting all the work done also a bit of good news is that the clutch was fine it just needed a new cable and pedal.

oh and iv also bought a set of morette twin headlights purely so i can use them to feed more air into the engine bay along with the gtt bumper vent. i should have the car back by weds evening i cant bloody wait as well.

hows the t28/t2 performing? have you had it power run'd at all? looking at making the same out of a t28 200sx turbo and a t2 5gtt turbo   :mrgreen:

works really well mate very good set up really strong , what set up are you going for? iv seen something that u might use a t28.64 ex housing, dont do that its way too laggy biggest ex housing you want is t25.49.

my set up is cossie comp housing, pulsar t28 comp wheel, .63 t2 ex housing with t2 wheel

i'm really not sure what i want to do yet so looking around for facts n figures since i have a 200sx t28 and a t2 sitting

Seem to be doing alot of track stuff lately and dont wanna be ragging it for 20mins a time to keep within the power band but i want a bit more poke

tbh if your on a track keeping it in the power band shouldnt be a problem, i cant see why you wont be able use the t28 front and mate it to the t2 rear am sure bb tuning used do something similar

if your after someone to build you the turbo up then give me a shout pal

been a real long time since i updated this thread alot of things have been done etc first of all ill add some pics for you all

mine and bros car together after last dyno day in july bros car made 180bhp/210lb/ft i didnt run my car.

after using poorboys black hole and dodo juice supernatural hybrid it rained literally 2 mins after i had finished

also added a 285mm big brake conversion (best mod iv done )


and bought a tubular manifold as part of the group buy on rtoc


alot of people asked me to comment if i noticed any difference in power or spool up etc with this manifold i cant honestly comment on power as i had alot of headwork done as well as inlet ported at same time. but i can say spool up has not improved at all.

i now run my car at 21psi on the t28/t2 which im really happy with still not got a power figure yet but i will soon so please bear with me .

current carb spec is as follows

standard venturi
120 main
0.9 air corrector
2mm needle valve
1.3 2nd stage

fuelling is pretty much bang on really strong even at high revs in 4th/5th gear. i am on the lookout for a different induction kit preferably a decent size cotton green or ram air etc
