what is the best oil??

know its 15w 40 but is semi synthetic the best for a 5 turbo,

yh to be honest i dont think fully sem was out when the 5s was introduced. my m8 wrks at transco e had a look for me and it states 15w 40 semi unluckly mines runnin 10w 40 motful. oil change soon,not long done it aswell.

i'v been told 10w 40 aswell so wouldnt worry and thats whats stated on the castrol website so god knows

The C1J is a tough old engine, and it's not too fussed what it runs on.  Unlike some engines, that are pretty picky (Ford's Zetec for example).

Just use the cheapest semi-synth' you can find.  I use 15W-40 that costs me £5 for 5 litres from my local car spares place.
