massive overfuelling
« on: 15:39, Fri 07 August 2009 »
Hi lads, just found this site, now got a white reno 5 gtt, picked up yesterday and its massivley over fuelling, no matter how much turning or the mixture screw she jus kincks out black smoke from the exhaust on idle and driving.

Im also after some pics of the throttle cable set up as i think mine is missing a clip and the choke cable too as i can move both the cables easily,

cheers in advance

Sounds like knackered worn out carb. Just had the same problem with mine, fitted another one and it was fine.

if it was the turbo though it would be blue smoke not black.
