What sounds correct wording ?

Just changing a few things about on the site and you will see on the menu bar on the left it says
"Maintaining an R5GTT"
Now does this sound right or should it be
"Maintaining a R5GTT" ??

"An" is correct. I understand your predicament though - there are no British words which begin with R that are prenounced "R" at the beginning. And with R5 being an abbreviation, that's why "an R5" looks wrong but sounds right!

'A' sounds right, Maintaining 'a' Renault 5 GT Turbo..
I wouldn't say Maintaining an Renault 5 GT Turbo...
But Maintaining 'an' R5GTT sounds right as well :?
