Clio 1.8 16v???

Hi guys,
my mates about to buy one saying its gonna wipe the floor with my 5turbo. I have doubts.
I wont be racing like a nutter on roads btw.

I would just like to know more about them,
Anyone owned one, what are they like?
Does he stand a chance  :D

Thats what I want to get if I convince myself to sell the sporty.
They are quick, but wipe the floor with a GT Turbo? I don't think so....

i had one and they're pretty quick. i had 130 out of it. think they do 0-60 in just under 8 seconds

just under 8 thats what i thought.
although top end itll probably have a 5, but thats not important. 0-70's where its really at i think.

They are quite quick i've had a few my last one was 147 bhp and would pull round to 140 on the clocks on a test track.lol.Not as quick as a five low down.But in they do haddle abit better then a five i think.But look nowhere near as good as a five turbo

Kept up with a turbo'd one up to about 100MPH then it just left me for dead.

Should walk all over a standard one.

the williams are 2.0ltr 16v mate and are much faster thatn the 1.8 16v clio's bud and they are the blue with the gold wheels

they look the same as they both have the same bodywork but obviously the williams has the 2.0ltr lump init i forgot what bhp they are now i'm sure the williams is about 150bhp standard

Williams is 150 bhp standard and a 1.8 16v is 137bhp standard. The williams engine is far more tuneable aswell.
