oil temp/pressure

could some one tell me where the pin should be on both dials.

when i start the engine the dial on the right shoots up to about halfway mabey a touch more, the dial on the left stays at the bottom (its very cold where i am tho)

any pics would be great

GTT as a standard doesn't have oil temperature. Oil pressure should jump as you rev car. Standard dials are not quite reliable after 20 years of work so results very from car to car.

If it's the normal dash your on about, the dial on the left is water temperature.  :lol:

If it's one of those '2 in 1' oil temp/pressure guages you can get you want oil pressure between 0.7BAR-4BAR on a warm engine and ideal oil temperature is 90-120c might vary depending on what grade oil you are using.
