For ages been wanting a pillar pod to slap a boost gauge into but can only find universal pods, any1 know of 1 that is made for the 5 or a decent fitting universal 1? If not iM just going to have to stick a gauge on the dash :(  Cheers

type 'pillar pod' on ebay m8 loads of them and there cheap too :D

If it's just the 1 guage your fitting what about fitting it where the original clock is?

The face comes off and can easily be modified to fit a guage into, plus you have the wiring already in place for the backlight.  8)

yeah but they're all universal aren't they??  :shock: Is they're nothing specific for the five? :) I was going to stick one in the clock space but wanted a apexi el2 mechanical gauge :wink:  do't think it'll fit in the clock space :cry:

It's just the right size for a normal 52mm guage.

Mechanical guages are usually thinner because they have less electronic gummings inside.

I got one from ebay It was a universal one but with a bit of a trim it worked out ok..

It was a bit like this one.. Only mine was a double.

i cut up a universal one, bonded and filled onto A pillar, and painted with some grey paint i found lying about....
