gaz - the vnt is awesome once set up but it can take abit of fidling to get it how you want it.

mines set up to come on boost at 2300 rpm n hit full boost at around 2900 rpm. not drove the car properly yet as im doing some work on it ready for better weather in may time. but i want to make sure fuelings set up first... but heard there a nitemare to get fueling set up?? so im just worried its going to break the bank?? lol :?

sounds like its set up about the same as mine. mayb abit laggier.
my carb is set up to be safe at 20psi and i just run it on that fueling all the time

sorry my mistake lol its set to come in at 1600 & hit full boost at 2500. did u set it up on a wideband? if so wot jeting have you got?? ive only just bought the car you see & want to get fueling set for frame of mind...

one of my mates built the carb for me. hes done quite a few now and his 5 is awesome.
he normally brings his lc1 round and then do some roadtests to make sure it doesnt run lean under boost.

i would like to get a wideband afr sensor in there tho just to be sure

ok thanks mate. its got the nut in the exhaust for a wideband so ill get 1 & probably get some 1 who knows what there doing. cgb motorsport said he would set it up for me so ill see what happens...

new engine repainted black, then next was the oil pump (flash brings out some of the yellow on the edges. its not seen without the flash though)



then the sump



(where possible ive replace all bolts with allen key cap bolts)







head bolted down with 2 old bolts to stop the liners moving

et15 7.5x16's with out the arches lol



after i cleaned out the garage of all the old rust

carbon scuttle covers



prototype manifold (doesnt quite fit though)

and seeing as the wheels can be seen in the last pic, here he is seeing daylight for the first time in a few months





that was mondays work.

tonight i have started to sand back the strut tops and i have started to drill the hole for my boost pipe to go through, but as the battery in my drill died i didnt get very far . . .
