Hi people (:
« on: 20:57, Sun 14 December 2008 »
Hi guys...

I long time lover of R5's here! Ever since my first ride in one, my girlfriend when I was 17, her bro gave me a lift home in his and my god it shifted! Wanted one ever since.

At the moment I own a Clio 182 but am looking to chop it in for something cheaper next year, an R5 is top of the list so far! Done a lot of searching around on this forum so thought I'd say hi :P oh yeah and I'm a computer engineer for Renault btw, I fix Clip's! (the diagnostic tools)

PS: What happened to RTOC? Used to browse there years ago but now 25 to even look at the threads  seems a bit steep to me!

Hi and welcome

I was thinking of replacing my 5 with a clio 182 next year. I have never driven one before. Are they as good as cracked up to be ?

They're great cars mate, just don't feel that 'special' to me!? Think I really am a more of an older car fan :D

I have the Recaros in mine though which I love, I wonder... would they fit in a 5?

Yep. The vast knowledge alone (on what to buy, what not to buy, how to do this, how to do that, etc..) will save you LOTS of money..

Don't get me wrong I'd definitely pay up if I bought one! But not prepared to pay that kinda money when I'm only looking/thinking about it. That's more money than a few car forums I go on put together
