speedo colors

alright guys im trying to change the black inserts in my speedo for white ones, but imnot quite sure how to get the needles of, i also cant find my haynes book any where and am quite scared of snaping them off for good, would any one be able to help me out ??

I used two small tablespoons to 'pop' them off.
