I've got my battery tray to do whenever i get time, it's looking very flaky. Hopefully it's not to bad, i hate welding.

I got a friend to knock up these for me on photoshop to give me an idea of what the wheels might look like with different colours.
Hope i don't get too panned for this, but i want to stress this will be for my spare set of wheels, i will be keeping the rims with the Michelin MXV's on.

there were a few like these

Think i know what i'll be doing, what about you?

The graphite with polished lip looks good!  8)  Looks a bit too fussy with the red lip though.

I'm not sure the red with polished lip would look that good in the flesh to be honest, but it's not my car and i reckon whatever combination you go for your going to do it with 110% perfection.  8)

Hey J,  I think the safest option is the graphite with silver lip.. I dont think the right anthracite was captured well enough to see it how it would really look..  but i think its the safest option from the list.. and as your keeping your originals safely tucked away...  u can just play :)

Thanks for all the kind comments again, well i kinda knew all along, i think i'll be going for the anthracite with the polished lip. As mentioned i think the colour above is not quite right, i'd like a slightly darker shade than the colour GTT sprayed his. Just need to source a decent set of rims now, am waiting on some but i'm on the point of giving up.

Hey J.. cant believe your still waiting... if your anything like me and super impatient u'll be running around in circles by now  :?   hope they turn up soon....I'm really looking forward to seeing how ur 5 looks with them all done!!   8)  I have to say tho...  with my boring head on...  I love urs with the silver standard wheels...   to me...  its perfection... mainly because the whole car is so spotless it just makes it factory fresh.

But...  I also know where your coming from with the anthracite...  it will be cool to see how it looks with a 'twist' to the standard alloys on there.

You've got some very sexy tyres waiting to go on as well  8)

How comes its taking so long to get ur wheels?

Yeah there has been much nashing of teeth, don't understand the problem, he wants to sell I want to buy. Just about given up on them which is irritating as I would have gone in stronger on those 3 and have also turned down another set. Ho hum. I do like the silver as well which is why the second set is the perfect option, best of both worldf.

Well I noticed J150 has her pic up on the "your cars" section so I thought it was time for a quick update.
Well finally got around to taking her for an MOT yesterday which she sailed through of course, so hopefully soon I shall be able to post some slightly more interesting pictures. This was the first time i've been out for a proper drive, seriously good fun :)  Very similar to my Trophy but smaller rawer lighter and maybe slightly quicker on the pickup. Brakes are pretty awful though, my van brakes are suprisingly good and so are those on the T which I've upgraded, not sure if it's down to not being used for a long period or they are just not great.
We will hopefully be at Silverstone this sunday :)

You're not wrong, picked up a load of parts from a friend at renault the other day although it seemed a large box there wasn't a huge amount once I'd got rid rid of all bags and boxes.[/img]

Just a couple of pics as way of an update. Slowly getting through a few small jobs before the winter when most of the undercarriage will get replaced.
