hi i am in the middle of fully restoring 2 r5 gt turbos, just wondering how far i should go, i have only had them 6 months and new to the r5, i am starting to really get into them just like many people on here. i am just wondering if i kept one undercover for many years would it go up in value or down eg collectors? dont want to put unessecary money into it if you know what i mean. would be grateful for any advice, thanks

id say it depends on how standard and original u keep it.
if u restore it totally to new and then keep it ul be on too a winner

this is an ongoing argument i keep having i love oldskool cars 5,s cossies etc etc n 10-15 years ago people bought "5,s" kept them in mint condition and are selling them now ****now**** fing is with the way the automotive industry is going *self parking cars* n a host of other goodys in 10 years time cars like the 5 more than likely wont be road legal think no pas no abs no airbags in some cars this has been standerd for nearly 10 years if not more my advice would be restore to good standerd n sell within then next maybe 5 years or sooner this way u will make so money problem with restoration is u never get ya money bk :oops:  :oops: this is just my view ALL DA BEST TO YOU M8!
