Blue/purple glitter painted 5

i went to a lads house the night and he has a 5 turbo which is painted a blue/purple colour with a glitter flake through it with a grey ft bumper and grill.
now the car is in inverness now but came from the edinburgh area. its j reg and decked on tsw stealths and used to be white.
there is no history or documents with the car so was just wondering if anyone knows of the car really.
the guy has a raider which i said i would fix and mot for him in return for the glitter 5, just dont want to waste my time for a dodgy car.
it was on ebay a few weeks back so some of you may have saw it

The reg no is j468sdp which doing a cheack comes up as a white 5 turbo

just did an hpi check on my phone, 9 owners, not stolen, no fianance but was extensively damaged cat on 24/10/1998, insurers decided not to repair it and no record of a vic inspection??

that was 10 years ago, it aint been sitting for 10 years thats for sure and it dont look smashed

best one to phone about r5's in scotland is mike from pcs he'll know who owned it and what and how it was repaired

yeah ill do that, spoke him before. i phoned vosa and they said that back then vehicles didnt get vic checks thats why its not showing up.
but it must have been repaired well enough to still be on the road 10yrs later so im going to do the deal, get it down my work and checked over the day

i got the car, pretty impressed. the floor sills, boot floor and front chassis legs are original and straight! must have been panel damage but all the lines match up.
its got blue purple flip paint on it so painting the front bumper is going to be sh*t
but to get the other one going ive had to rob the turbo with all pipework, alt, intercooler and starter so far. so its not going to be on the road anytime soon
