Has any1 on here got a turbo timer fitted to there 5? just wonderd if so was it much myther to fit? I no u can get a harness adapter for other cars but not 5s as there an oldskool warriar :D  so it wud have to be hard wired!!! is it much trouble? :?

I had one fitted in my car.. One dodgy thing about them is that they expose all the ignition wiring at the back of the timer.

To be honest tho I rarely used it. I never liked parking the car with just the handbrake engaged. I usually waited till the car settled and then left the car in gear as well. My mates rolled away on him one day with just the handbrake engaged :?

It did come in handy for warming the car up on the driveway tho.

Is there any insurance issues with these devices?

I would of thought so, i'm sure it's illegal to leave a running car unattended aswell.

I've never seen the point in these things, i just leave mine running for a bit before i turn it off depending on how hard it's been driven.
