A guy opened his door onto my Ibiza Cupra and put a dent in it, I see him do it and had witnesses. I wouldnt let him move his car until he gave me his details....
He refused so the other half flagged down traffic police and told them he was refusing to give me his details... After a word from the copper he gave me them. If he'd just have admitted it and given us £80 to get it repaired I'd have forgot about it but he was being a tit so I thought f#ck it Im going through my insurance...
I got the dent repaired with pdr cost £125..which I payed for then forwarded the bill to my solicitor to get his insurance to pay for.
To cut a long story he longed it out, saying that he wasn't involved in any incident that day so I got the copper who I flagged down to contact my solicitor which confirmed him as a liar... Then my insurance was due for renewal and cos of an outstanding claim had gone up 50% !!
My arguement was if hes denying any incident that day he cannot make a counter claim against me and my Insurance company agreed and got my NCB back !!
In the end after a final warning of court proceedings from my solicitor (who was excellent) his insurance company paid out and the twat lost his no claims bonus all for the sake of £80 !!
I weren't gonna let it go as these f#ckers think they can get away with it !!
