Crash

Had a crash last night.

Front bumper is destroyed, front panel looks bent in.

Looks like the Chassis might have a bend in it aswell.

Its driving and it aint leaking, but i think it might be a write off

Some cnut cut me up and i ended up hitting a pole.

A mechanic friend of mine is coming to look at it tomorrow, to tell me the bad news.

Luckily its only a campus and not a turbo otherwise i would be rather upset.

Thats a crapper mate, they are very flimsy so it may be able to repair.

Strip the front down to further investigate the damage, is the radiator broken? If not then maybe it's not that bad?

Nah radiator was unclipped, but was working still.

I managed to drive it 3.2miles after the crash and it was working fine and didn't over heat.

What i think happened was my passenger tyre punctured as i was turning the corner and all the steering just locked up to the left.

If it is a write off, im not sure whether to buy a mint renault 5 campus and just swap it all over. If it wernt 5000 to insure, i would have a mint turbo and this wudnt of even happened.

This is what happens when you try and own a car for a year that isn't really the car you want.

have a look to see if any of the sub frame holes are stretched. if not it probably aint bent.

by holes i meant mounts, if you get what i mean.  :oops:
