engine mount

when im driveing my gear stick moves quite alot with the engine when i throttle or take off the throttle .
the front mount on the engine its just a ball in a metal cup is there anything else to go in the cup or is that right.
any ideas on the movement great thanks.

plus is 2half turns enough on the mixture screw on a group a carb with standard boost. :?:

Not sure on the carb, check the front & rear engine mounts though, jack the car up on the box & see if the mounts part at all.
Normally gearbox side that goes 1st.

Not really, if you get uprated ones they are about £30 odd each for the fronts from K-tec....
