engine mount

when im driveing my gear stick moves quite alot with the engine when i throttle or take off the throttle .
the front mount on the engine its just a ball in a metal cup is there anything else to go in the cup or is that right.
any ideas on the movement great thanks. :)

plus is 2half turns enough on the mixture screw on a group a carb with standard boost. :?:

Not sure on the carb, check the front & rear engine mounts though, jack the car up on the box & see if the mounts part at all.
Normally gearbox side that goes 1st.

Not really, if you get uprated ones they are about 30 odd each for the fronts from K-tec....
