scuttle cover fitting

alryt lads...after slabberin on bout scuttle covers i got a set from gt tuning.
battery side aint fitting ryt tho...th terminal plus wires on the positive side are to big and making it sit raised
has anybody had this problem and how did thy gt round it

I assume the GT Tuning covers are metal?

You don't want the +VE touching that then coming into contact with the bodywork!  :shock:

they got like a piece of rubber under the battery end to stop the contact thng happenin neways

ugh metal covers over battery terminals.......*shudders* i would put more insulation around them terminals regardless of the bit of rubber...its amazing how quick a bit of rubber wears down with vibration and movement in a short time..

yeh i ws thinkin bout tht...myt jus cut some lino and place it at the back...unles somebdy got any other helpful  ideas???
