Carpet Cleaning

Hey guys

I was cleaning my car yesterday and noticed how grubby the boot carpet has become. Its covered in oil stains etc etc (no blood stains tho lol) and is starting to annoy me a bit.  Anyone had much luck cleaning one up before? If yes what did you use??

Best thing to do is remove it from the car and give it a good going over with some carpet cleaner, i also find Autoglym Interior Shampoo is very good.

Trouble is it's very thin, i think to much vigourous scrubbing would actually rub the fabric off! :shock:

well with mine i wash mine in the washer and it comes out perfetly clean and smells like new

best carpet cleaner is halfords heavt duty
its really good and quick an easy to use

Tried it in the washing machine there today..  It has helped it a bit..  Still could do with some work tho..  Will look for some of that carpet cleaner from halfords and give it a go..

Pity I couldnt get my hands on some black carpet to recut one as I have the black carpet inside the car from a raider. It would look smart...

could you dye your carpet? don't know how well it'd come out.

think dyein is it bit dodgy unles u get really good grade dye

try the halfords stuff...it is amazing

I need to measure the boot carpet and see if it is big enough.
