I remember seeing a thing on rtoc saying how many were left registered to the dvla. Not to sure but think it was something like 2000 phase 2's n 800 phase 1's. dont quote me on that. :oops:

I haven't seen one round by me for a while.

There have been several different ones local to me over the years but they don't stay around for long.

It takes a certain amount of commitment and a hell of a lot of patience to own a R5 or any older 'hot hatch' (my 205 GTI was just as frustrating) i think.

well ive never seen one up my end.
found out theres maybe 2 or 3 within 50 miles.
i seen one of them and th guy jus abused it.
and never cleaned it

One less than last week definately as there was one spun out in a ditch about 5 miles from where I live as i drove to work at 5:30am.

The front end looked completely totalled  :shock:  :cry:

The answer is "twice the length from the middle"

Ive only ever seen one in my area ...light blue one with the reggy Emma in it .

There was a red one that kicked about years ago in my area ..constantly broke down ...i put it down to the owner whacking up the boost  :lol:
