oil cooler

I m thinking a bout getting a oil cooler, just wondered whats the best way to block the holes on the rad were the old oil pipes went.

Once all the oil is out you won't need to, or just find a bolt with the same thread & wind it in
If you go external cooler get the kit with stat, Rally design are the cheapest i found @ circa £135 all inc. You will have to cut a notch out of the engine mount so the stat doesn't foul it though.

thanks for that do you know what size fittings I need are they 1/2 bsp? also do you use a external cooler yourself are they worth useing ?

I don't know what fittings, i was going to be lazy & buy a kit rather than mess about trying to get the parts together, you want a 13 row BTW.
Only worth using on high boost or track aplications where the oil gets a hard life IMO.

I'm sure RD said they do just the pipes & stat for £60.... or that may have been the rad, can't remember now. lol.
