Are the rubber strips along the sill new? Or did you salvage them when you took them off?

If they are new where did you get them from? Mine were all discoloured and bent when they were taken off.

brand new from renault they work out at around 36 each fae renault but bob (cgb) does them for i think 25 the pair

could not salvage both old ones only 1 but got 2 brand new ones to go on.

fitted the new heater matrix refitted the dash rewired my 3 guages so they work perfectly with the oil preasure.
also done the driver side now only thing to do is to put the mirrior glass in then thats all done for the outside exept putting the wheels on.
and put the bulbs in the number plate lights and wiring
fit the wipers
fit the bumper lights

the inside to do is

fit rear seats
finish wiring all the speakers up x6
fit stereo and subs
plumb up boost guage
fit the footwell lights
finish off the roof lining

engine bay iam still thinking on what to do here.
still waiting on the hoses ive ordered (bleed nipple ones)

there is still a few things just not decided on what i want to do yet

done a few things on the days ive had oof cant do much during the day as the dark nights are closing in and well john's out with me everyday helping with my new job so here's the list of things done

water hoses and thermostat
front passanger fitted

finished rear seat so all now in blue and black will post pics up soon as next day off and in daylight.
just need to put in the rear harnesses.

all the front lights are fitted and working

going to make up a rear shelf in black no speakers as i think that having 6 speaker is enough so no 6x9 will be going in.

under the carpet is well insulated so nice and warm in the winter.
needing to also refit the heater controls.

refit the tweeters unknown where yet.
got ideas on getting john to build another engine to a bigger spec this time .

fit the floor lights and the blue under light for the car that will be fitted to the alarm.
there is still afew other things to be done but thats the thing with the r5's you'll never be finished you just want to make it better and better.
so thats it for now till the next time.

its not another build just another engine with a higher spec like the following
forged pistons , steel liners , total seal rings, big valve head with larger ports, knife edge crank ,lightend and balanced flywheel, 320 cam and vernier, tubuler manifold a t25 or bigger, oil cooler , grill mount intercooler ,alloy radiator, paddle clutch or valeo ,stronger valve springs and rejetted carb but also thinking of the efi conversion but unsure
