hey, my names ross and im from jersey, channel islands. im 17 and am an apprentice mechanic.

here is my car:



she is an '85 gt turbo with few things done. she has been slammed, painted in a one off pearl white with slight blue flip. engine wise, uprated gaskets and head bolts, group A carb, GT Tuning In car boost control, BOV (which isn't working atm), spider valve and a few other things im sure i have missed!

let me know what you think, and hopefully ill pick up a bit from here!

cheers for kind replies.

needs a bit of work here and there but engine wise she is perfect.

will be leaving body standard as i prefer standard looking cars with subtle tweeks. might be mothballing it over summer and do all the work needed, and save for insurance as they wont let me pay monthly due to me being 17.

yeh mate big body kits and spoilers are not my thing either just some suttle mods can make all the difference,keep up the good work 8)

just outy of curiousity, how much is your insurance gunna be? nobody would insure me when i was 17, i had to wait years to finaly get one. i was so gutted.

think your all going to be shocked at my insurance....£781 fully comp with slam declared.

i live on a small island though, makes insurance very very cheap

yeah, mines £310 fully comp, but its on a classic insurance.
i wish icould've got it that cheap when i was 17.
