Oh not much Im afraid, as a student I cant aford to much new stuff for my five. However in the little freetime I have I use detailing cars. Its a great way to earn some extra cash.

I see youve come a long way on your project. Icant wait to see the finshed results  8)

Also Ive had a really crappy day, as some F#%head has managed to dent my door and scratch it up deep. And worst of all the bastard didnt even leave a note.

f****n b******s denting your door i totally hate people who dont have the decency to stop, feel sorry for you mate :( hope you can sort it out.

i used to be a poor mechanic,so i know how you feel ive only been working offshore for a year and a half and starting to make good money, most of the parts for my 5 are second hand, ebay is our best friend  most parts just need a clean or a paint to get that showroom effect,i aiso spend hours on the internet looking for bargains,it proves you can build a car on a shoe string budget :D

thanks dogdz, believe it or not i got the chrome rocker cover and the leads of my mate for a measly 20 quid, they were both absolutely black and required lots of cleaning, and the rocker cover was all bent it took me a while to get it straight  the leads were from bb tuning and are the 8mm magnecors he paid 60 quid for them and had them 3 months then found out his car was a tee bag then i managed to negociate a deal  i dont know if they still do them now there website is a bit crap and doesnt really show you much, maybe give them a call and speak to them, hope this helps :D
