Cleaning silicone hoses?

Throw some hints/tips at me.

Whats the best way to clean my boost pipes, they used to be blue but now there all sticky with oily handprints and other general engine filth, i thought they would just wipe over quite easily but this doesn't seem to be the case.

WD40 works a treat mate or you can buy silicone hose cleaner.
