how difficult would it be to respray the whole car using aerosol. I hav recently done the bumpers and it came out really well. was wondering if painting onto metal was any different.

Well, it depends on what you expect... if all you expect is nice fresh paint, regardless of how it looks up close, then go for it... if your expectations are any higher then you'll be very disappointed...
When the car is being resprayed completely then it needs to be prepared really well... it includes a lot of sanding, body filler, sanding again, primer, then sanding again, and then spraying with color... and when you reach the color phase, you have to bear in mind that the whole car needs to be sprayed at once... meaning the whole car, one layer at a time...
So it's a lot of work, not easy at all, so no wonder it's a job for a professional... :wink:
