white or tungy grey?

im planning seeing a white 5 turbo locally this weekend, it has a few mods but i was on ebay and there is a sweet tungy grey one, decked on clio turbine alloys with the side decals on. but its in london and ill never get to go that far for a car.

do i get the nice white one or hold out for a grey one. the white one is on pistonheads, last couple of pages in inverness for £1550

My vote goes to Tungy one. White doesn't look so wide as dark ones

Is this the grey 1 your talking about?

It needs a VIC, i dont know why. I spoke to them and they said that it is NOT written off
they just need to check the chassis number matches the one on the registration documents.

Why would it need a VIC check unless it was a Cat C insurance write off?

na frog thats not the one, i think the one i was on about is sold now.

saw the white one, not that impressed with it, rust and silcon round the ft screen, rust here and there, hole in the n/s/r inner wheel arch. both doors rippled

its got koni adjustables all round, scorpion system, 15" oz superlegras, strut brace, filter, clifford alarm.

comes with spare morretes, k tec side exit and another strut brace.

it would look nice tarted up but i dont think its worth that money but saying that 5s are expensive at the mo

Has it got T&T ??
If so it may be worth 1k with the mods & spares, as long as it's not rusty anywhere else (sills, inner wings around suspension turrets etc.) as the rear hole is an easy job to do, although the rust round the screen could cost a bit..... if you aren't desperate then wait a bit, i picked mine up for £1200, all it needed was a wing & bumper spraying, it had a newly rebuilt engine as well. (i've added alot to it since though)

well i went and took it for a drive yesturday. and you know the feeling you get and the smirk on your face when you drive a 5, it made me buy it!!

still would have preffered grey but there is seriously nothing in the way of 5s up this end of the country

but im happy with it

:cool: looking forward to seeing the pics. I am a little biast towards to the grey but a tidy white 5 does look nice just look bad when the rust comes through as so noticeable.
