the life of my renny 5

hi guys

this was going to be the life story of my renny, i spent all afternoon almost writing you guys up a nice story of my renny 5 with all mots and failures and advisorys and loads of pics of it all, mot work, some engine rebuild, new turbo, my other grey renny 5 and a whole load more but the computer messed up while i was doing and just as i put the last pic in the bloody thing shut off so i lost it all, guess that teach me for not submiting every now and again. never mind

im just going to put all me pics in and mayb write a little under one or two, then if anyone has any questions or anything about any of them il be happy to answer.

right here it goes:

theses 1st 3 are from when i got it home the day i brought it  




















this is a spare window i had i tinted and i just stuck it in to see what it looked like and took it out again lol


test fit of m3 mirrors before filler, i didnt buy ones they are for a renny so i had to do a bit of bodgin  








looking shiney  :shock:


roof had to be painted when we put a new windscreen panel in.


had a nasty little hole just there and everytime it rained i used to get a swimming pool in the car  :evil:


this was home for a few months  




rebuilt engine on the floor in bedroom


rebuild in bedroom lol, pics aint too great my phone camera werent even a megapixal lol

this was were the new windscreen panel joint which you might see in other pics

this hole nearly grew to the size of the wheel arch when we took that carpet stuff off and grinded down lol

your not shy to take on a project eh?   dont see that blue colour often and then 2 cars posted up within days of each other!

i like the stance of the blue one!

keep sleeves rolled up!  wish i could get some time to work on my one!

blue one really needs a paint now, after all the work we done on it, its gained quite a few scratches and minor dents, so just needs a paint job and will be spanking lol

grey one has a long way to go yet, ive got another engine from a different car to put in and a wide boy body kit to go on it, along with some other bits and bobs.

what do people think of the light covers?? should i get them painted and on??

didnt u buy the rear qaud lights from ebay-i would stick them on as they look better  :wink:

Yeah i did but they are going onto the grey one when its under way, have to cut a bit from behind where the lights fit so the holders can fit in, so think id rather cut one up than both of them, grey one is going to be black when painted and i think the quad light would look better with the wide boy kit than my standard stuff on the blue one??

yeah the blue one is all ok at the min and on the road, part from some scratches and minor dents which i will sort out when i get round to painting it.
the grey one is still in my garage at the min, its been stripped to a rolling shell and im just waiting for the rain to clear up to hopefully start repairing the rust.
gotta put a new windscreen panel in the grey one too so more missions but hey its all good fun. just thankfull i aint gotta pay anyone to do it  

will post some more pics when things have progressed a bit.

what do people think of tinted windows?? shall i stick them in the blue one or shall i stay as they are, i cant decide at the min.

stick em on the grey one and leave the blue ones as they
