engine dropping revs

Hallo guys
My r5 doesn't hold the revs constant when idle. It drops them significantly when cooling fan kicks in. Is it electrical problem: cooling fan, ECU,  anything else?  Many thanks

What does the car idle at RPM wise normally??

Sounds like the idle screw needs setting with a couple of electical item's on.

The R5 is basic it doesn't have an ECU it has an AEI unit which has a very basic ingition map on and that is it.
