Is that shell stripped right back to bare metal?

Yes, the shell was put in a chemically bath so all the bad parts were visible and welded.
It was a immense work but wel worth it. She ain't gonna rust again 8)

I found myself a clutch: a dubble plated Tilton on a F7P flywheel

And this is how she's hanging now:

When I have the clutch and gearbox mounted to the engine she is ready to get in to the five.

Some nice kit going on this car.

Are those Williams wheels in silver I can see in the background as well?  8)

Yes, picked up yesterday.
The exterior is almost as I want it to be.
I only need a Clio 16v style bonnet.

The engine is in the car so we can start rebuilding the engine bay.

And the alternator fits nicely

Looks like you've done a first class job on this. I am wondering what's going on with the back windows though?! Looks like some sort of venting at the back of them?? :?

The back window plates are just dummy's.
This 5 was sold as a van in Holland, no back seat and blinded back windows.
I left them on cause this is how i bought it and there rare.
