Low boost

Hi all I took my 5 out after rebuild bad fully rebuilt turbo is like new it just doesn't seem to boost the dump valve goes but the in dash boost gage goes to under half ! Would the actuator be set low or what guys?

Also my rev gage has stopped working so no telling what rev I'm at I have in car boost controll but that doesnt seem to do anything?

Sounds like the actuator needs more preload, simple thing to fix

Word of wisdom, remove the in-car boost controller there the worse thing on the plant

There is yellow paint on the nut do I just turn it ?

Loosen nut the turn the part on the end so it shortens the rod, make sure you pull eyelet off the wastegate arm first them do it
