O2 sensor fitting

Hi,

I want to install a wideband kit on my gtt.
Now i would like to know where i have to weld the bung for the o2 sensor, cause on the net i find alot of different places where to fit it.

Please an exact discription with a pic maybe?

I would be tempted to move it down the pipe further still.

Mine was roughly in that position, and I damaged my sensor. However, I use the Innovative Motorsports wideband kit which isn't exactly known to be the most reliable.

I m pretty shure that it is way to close to the turbo, the lenghts i heard where between 16 inches from turbo and up to almost 40 inches, so there s where my doubt is...
And does the sensor need to be angled so it points towards the ex gasses?

Does anyone have a pic of one working good on a cgb downpipe? (i m going to buy the AEM uego failsafe wideband and boostgauge  in one, looks nice!)

Have CGB started making downpipes with the threaded inserts?

I live just down the road and he did mention he was going to look into making the larger downpipes.

I have mine angled at about 45 degrees (not vertical nor horizontal, somewhere inbetween) with the lead pointing at the bulkhead.

Not that i know of, but i got a new one from them lying here to be fitted, and want to weld a bung first before wrapping and fitting... That's why i would like to know how to place the sensor...

Please can someone give me some accurate fitting instructions?

ive fitted mine under near the sub frame, most widebands say its best to install between 10 and 2 oclock on the pipe.make sure you calibrate it before you put it in the exhaust for the first time
