Clifford alarm/ Starting problems

Hi boys.. need help here.. recently put car back together and had battery disconnected for quite abit of time.. so i went to start it up and i had literally no clocks.. (no motion in gauges, no battery light or oil light, when you put key in and turn it, these lights are supposed to come on) but i thought my clocks were dead, so i noticed the aei wasnt earthed... so earthed it and my handbrake light came on but still no battery or oil light.. so i thought it may be the clifford as i tried to start the car and it started the 1st time then cut out then tried to start it through out the same day and it seemed as though the immobiliser was kicking in.. anyone got a clifford and can give me some tips? have i done something wrong?

Mine can be temperamental.

If mine immobilises when I dont expect , leave the ignition on "start" ie twisted but before the started is attempting to turn ( not that it will with the immobiliser on ! ) unplug the +ive on the battery terminal and reconnect,
