To be honest Ash there isn't much difference, the bulkhead holes are alot smaller than a 5, the good thing with the clio is the front slam panel is bolt in  and bolt out and makes things alot easier to work on at the front.

Space wise overall it's bascially the same as a 5

 Sorry no pic's of i, I literally got the angle grinder and cut it then I cut some holed metal bar and drilled 2 holes in the now removable section and used 2 x 13mm bolt and nuts on it and and drilled 2 holes in the sections on the car I didn't cut and then just bolted the bar up looked fine barely noticed it was cut. Steve aka 5teveL done a similar thing

Well had a little play with the clio again last night and done the following:

Started the car for the first time since I have owned the car after engine re-assembly and it worked fine   other than the exhaust rattles like hell on idle and has a blow
Replaced passenger side headlight due to stone chip,
Replaced drivers side front indicator due to crack,
Replaced steering wheel with working leather airbag version (safety first)  ,
started removal of sun roof so can sort leakage out,

Need sunroof electric controls and possibly motor would like to get it working,
Considering Vinyl wrapping the roof myself with carbon fibre effect vinyl like my old GTT

James. Glad your finding your feet again ! Interesting read, as I've been offered a clio RSI , I just wondered what's the cost of the running kit involved to turbo charge that lump.

Then again I know my way around the. 5GTT engine fairly ok so consider this to be a big possibility, is there majour drama dropping in the gt lump, is it straight forward?

Clio 5 same thing really other than the 5 looks  8) , the more I do with the clio the more I realise it is so similar to the 5 other than engine being main difference.

Depends which route you go me I am trying to do it as cheap as possible this time around and therefore just need to get the standard pistons skimmed for low comp, and I intend to use standard ECU but get it mapped for turbo I am hoping to spend around 2k max
