they are rh classics mate only 25 sets made originally vw fitment but slightly  altered to fit, i love the wheels only downside can get bigger than standard discs so had to whip the 285s off, but now running on tarox discs and ferodo pads.i think the alloys were originally marky marks on here but i bought them off a guy in mirfield.

Hi mate,   just thought you might like to know about the wheels...  I bought those from Germany and had them sent over here a few years ago,  they were orginally black spokes with the polished dish... looking good on yours  8)

Keep up the good work mate.. looking very nice  8)

Colne, Lancs? Ah....my home town in Nelson, Lancs, all my life before I moved to Leeds!

I used to run my own business (The WORX Bodyshop) and specialise in buy/sell and breaking r5gtts as well run bodyshop repairs/respraying.

Don't suppose have met you around there eh? Great looking car you got!

hi yes colne lancashire mate! think ive heard of your buisness not dealt with you  myself though! did you drive a renault 5 gt around here? i might remember it. i only know of 2 round here other than mine and know the people that own them. my sills were bought from cgb motorsport cant remember how much they were not so dear but the welding cost me 750 as i had inner and outer sills done and all four bumper points and when i bought the car someone had smoothed the petrol cap over and put it in the boot so i had to have it cut back out. i asked about when i wanted my sills welding and a few people said 150 a side was average price for labour. i scrapped the other shell as it was absolutely rotten around the back windows and sills had gone

Yeah, I have owned and drive almost all different colours R5GTTs (mostly phase 2s) in the past with my mate's Ian "Max" Wilcox's black r5gtt he called her Doris racing around Nelson/Colne LOL!

I'm hijacking this thread! ha ha!

Now then, I notice to last few posts are from folk local to me(north west).  any chance you will drive to me and let me see where all the fiddly brackets, bits and pieces from the engine bay go??  I will pay fuel/beer tokens but seeing as i'm restoring a 5, I have very little money to pay for time!  I'm in Rochdale, OL11 area.

Thanks,

Jack
